Eighty minutes on foot, from the Golden Gate through the narrow streets of the Old Town, past the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, down into the underground chambers and out onto the Riva. Your guide connects the Roman ruins you pass to the empire that built them, the way only someone who knows the history can.

The classic private walking tour in English is priced for the whole group, starting at €100 for a couple and scaling up to €250 for the group of 10. Tours in Italian, Spanish, and French are guided by specialist language guides and priced a little higher. No booking fees when arranged directly with us.

Yes. A licensed local guide leads the entire tour in the language you pick, from the first stop to the last. It is not an audio guide and not subtitles. Tours in Italian, Spanish, and French depend on a specific guide's availability, so we always confirm the time first.
Yes. Because it's private, the guide can slow the pace, skip a stop, or take a longer break. Nobody is left trailing behind, and there's nothing technical to worry about.
The palace has plenty of covered arcades and streets, so a light rain is no problem. In heavy weather we'll move the tour to another time or day that works for you, or give you a full refund.
At the Gregory of Nin statue, just outside the Golden Gate. Your guide waits there for your group. The tour ends on the Riva waterfront.
