These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of timewalk.hr and your participation in tours offered by Time Walk d.o.o. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not book a tour or use our services.

2. The tour
Time Walk offers a guided VR walking tour through Diocletian's Palace in Split, Croatia. Each tour includes:
- An approximately 80-minute guided walking experience
- Two immersive virtual reality scenes using Meta Quest 3 headsets
- A licensed local guide
- All necessary equipment
The tour starts at the statue of Gregory of Nin (Grgur Ninski), just outside the Golden Gate of Diocletian's Palace.
3. Booking and payment
- Bookings can be made directly through timewalk.hr or through our partners GetYourGuide and Viator.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Your booking is confirmed only after payment is processed and you receive a confirmation email.
- Group size is limited to a maximum of 16 participants per tour.
- If you book through GetYourGuide, Viator, or another third-party platform, additional terms from that platform may also apply, including their own cancellation and refund policies.
4. Pricing
Prices are listed in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the price you paid.
5. Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations by you
- More than 24 hours before the tour: full refund
- Less than 24 hours before the tour: no refund
- No-shows: no refund
If you booked through GetYourGuide or Viator, please refer to their cancellation terms, which may differ.
Cancellations by us
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to:
- Weather. The VR headsets are sensitive electronic equipment and cannot be used in rain. If rain or storms are forecast, we will contact you to either reschedule or arrange a full refund.
- Force majeure (events outside our reasonable control)
- Insufficient bookings (rare; we will notify you at least 12 hours in advance)
- Operational or safety reasons
In any of these cases, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling to another available date.
6. Participant eligibility and restrictions
Suitable for
The VR portion of the tour is suitable for:
- Adults
- Children aged 13 and older (younger children are welcome on the walking portion but will not use the VR equipment)
Not suitable for
By booking, you confirm that you and your group members are not subject to any of the following:
- Wheelchair use (the Old Town has stairs, cobblestones, and narrow crowded streets that make safe wheelchair access not possible during the tour)
- Severe motion sickness, vertigo, or vestibular disorders
- Photosensitive epilepsy
- Recent eye surgery (within 30 days)
- Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the tour

7. Health and safety
By participating in a Time Walk tour, you confirm that:
- You are physically able to walk for approximately 80 minutes on uneven terrain (cobblestones, stairs, narrow streets)
- You have disclosed any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely
- You will follow your guide's instructions during the VR scenes for your own safety and the safety of others
- You understand that the VR experience involves wearing a headset that limits your direct vision of your surroundings
You may remove the VR headset at any time and step out of any scene without penalty if you feel uncomfortable.
8. Equipment and liability for damage
- Meta Quest 3 headsets and accessories are provided by Time Walk for use during the tour.
- You are responsible for using the equipment carefully and following your guide's instructions.
- Damage caused by negligence or intentional misuse may result in repair or replacement charges, up to a maximum of €600 per headset.
- Time Walk is not liable for injuries caused by failure to follow guide instructions, undisclosed medical conditions, or actions outside our reasonable control.
9. Photography and video
We may photograph or film tours for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being filmed or photographed in group settings. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour and we will accommodate your request.
10. Intellectual property
All content on timewalk.hr — including text, images, videos, VR scene content, branding, logos, and the Time Walk name — is the intellectual property of Time Walk d.o.o. and protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. For details on what cookies we use, see our Cookie Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian law:
- Time Walk's total liability for any claim arising from a tour booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost opportunity, travel costs, or accommodation expenses — arising from a cancelled, delayed, or unsatisfactory tour.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Croatian law.
13. Force majeure
Time Walk is not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, public health emergencies, civil unrest, strikes, or interruption of essential services.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved by the competent courts in Split, Croatia.

15. Changes to these Terms
