Eighty minutes on foot, from the Golden Gate through the narrow streets of the Old Town, past the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, down into the underground chambers and out onto the Riva. Twice along the way the headset goes on and the ruins fill back in: the Golden Gate in 305 AD with Roman soldiers at the doors, and the Peristyle in full ceremonial glory as Diocletian addresses the crowd.

The VR headsets can't be used in the rain, so if the weather doesn't hold we move your tour to another time or day, run it as a classic guided walk without the VR, or give you a full refund. Whatever you prefer.
At the Gregory of Nin statue, just outside the Golden Gate. Your guide waits there with a red cart carrying the headsets. The tour ends on the Riva waterfront.
